Bill Scoggins, Jr. | Accounting Manager
Bill Scoggins, Jr. has held the position of Accounting Manager of the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System since 2012. He was initially hired as the Senior Accountant in 2007. Prior to coming to the System, Bill served the City of Richardson as the Senior General Accountant for nine years starting in 1998. Before serving at the City of Richardson, Bill worked at the Dallas Housing Authority as an Accountant for eight years.
Bill’s education includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Arkansas and a Masters of Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Bill is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas and Arkansas. At the System, Bill manages all accounting functions, which include, but are not limited to, accounts payable, pension and staff payroll, treasury and all general accounting functions including the annual audit.
