2019 Non-Member Trustee Election

Gilbert Garcia

I would be honored to continue to serve the Dallas Police and Fire Pension System. I am a Texan, graduated from Yale and spent five years on Wall Street before returning in 1990. I am the Managing Partner of Garcia Hamilton & Associates, a $14 billion bond firm in Houston. Having served on the board last year, the Houston Municipal Pension Board, Chairman of Houston Metro, and Sanchez Energy, I believe my experiences make me qualified to fulfill my fiduciary duty. I am married with four kids and have coached youth sports over 35 seasons. Thank you for your consideration. Resume

Tina Hernandez Patterson

I have been a fierce advocate for pension members for two years as a DPFP Board Member. Prior, as a Cornell graduate, I majored in Government and Economics and have invested in stocks, bonds and real-estate via hedge-funds for over 25 years. Currently, I am the Chief Investment Officer of a fund that provides financing to companies in Africa. As a wife of a Dallas Firefighter, Jeff Patterson, and a Dallas taxpayer, I understand the issues affecting the Pension intimately. First responders’ work has become increasing dangerous; I am committed to ensuring that a proper pension is available at retirement. Resume

Robert French

I'm an Attorney and Financial Advisor working with Northwestern Mutual. I’m also a US Air Force Reserve Judge Advocate General (JAG) Captain. I worked closely with the Defense Intelligence Agency, Department of Treasury, and DEA while in Afghanistan concerning Anti-Money Laundering. I have an LL.M. in Tax Law from UH, a Juris Doctorate and MBA from Texas Tech and a B.A. from UNT. I was approached to serve on this board due to my real world experiences, my financial and legal background, and my ability to be an independent fiduciary/watchdog. It would be a privilege and honor to serve. Resume
